Students launch pediatric advocacy chapter
Olentangy Liberty High School sophomore William Wang and Olentangy Orange High School Nishok Sakthivel started a pediatric advocacy chapter called the Central Ohio iCAN Kids Chapter back in February with Mr. Nunn, a teacher at Olentangy Orange High School, to promote awareness of pediatric patient and caregiver significance in health care, trials and research. Their chapter is a part of a larger, global 501(c)(3) nonprofit called the International Children’s Advisory Network.

County resident becomes VP at JAG
COLUMBUS — The Jazz Arts Group (JAG) announces that Kelly Hebblethwaite Johnson has been appointed as the organization’s vice president of development. She assumed the role beginning Feb. 29 and comes to JAG with 20-plus years of advancement experience.
DPHD awarded grants from state
The Delaware Public Health District announced on March 14 three separate funding awards recently received from the state of Ohio to help build up programming for Delaware County youth, older adults, and recycling and litter prevention within local parks.
