  ● Play guitar, paint, cycle, kayak, cook, soccer

Tell us something interesting about yourself that many people might not know:
  ● Before I went into Exercise Science at Kent State, I auditioned for and was accepted into the musical theatre program. I changed my mind due to my overwhelming need to help and work with people directly. Music is still a huge part of my life!!

What songs do you sing?
  ● Broadway, folk, classical, pop, and of course anything I write!

What type of music do you listen to? Favorite artists?
  ● Anything as long as it's melodic and I can sing along! I love Ben Folds, Brett Dennen, Weezer, The Wallflowers, and Ingrid Michaelson.

Have you ever had any professional singing lessons?
  ● Freshman year in high school I took one semester of lessons from an OWU student. She helped tremendously!

When it comes to singing, whose opinion do you respect most?
  ● My now retired choir director from Kent State, Dr. C.M. Shearer. He's a true genius. He always told us "The best performers in this world all have two key elements: a heart like fire and a mind like ice." The more I sing the more real this statement becomes for me.
