Delaware city will start paying back the debt associated with the improvements made to the Southeast Highland Sewer area.

Delaware City Council this week unanimously voted to issue and sell bonds in the maximum amount of $15.4 million to pay back notes issued five years ago to finance the construction of the Southeast Highland Sewer.
