Staff Report

SourcePoint will host its 2015 “Health & Wellness Expo” on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 3 to 7 p.m.

This event is designed to promote health and wellness to Delaware County residents age 55 and older and their family caregivers, according to SourcePoint officials.

SourcePoint has invited local organizations that serve the 55-plus population by providing health and wellness-related services to apply as vendors at the Health & Wellness Expo. Attention will be given to those vendors who plan to perform a free health screening or other wellness-related service or demonstration on site during the event, organizers say.

Spaces will be granted to applicants so that the entire vendor list represents a variety of medical, wellness, health, personal safety and fitness-related specialties, they said.

Completed vendor applications must be received by 5 p.m. July 31 in order to be considered. Selection notification letters will be mailed to applicants in August.

Vendor fees for those selected are $100 for informational or promotional exhibitors. There is no charge for interactive exhibits and health screeners.

For more information or to download an application, go to www.MySourcePoint.org/expo or contact Mary Homan at 740-203-2357 or [email protected].

The event was formerly known as the Senior Health & Safety Day.

Formerly known as the Council for Older Adults, SourcePoint is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
