Four people were injured and four people were arrested Wednesday in connection with a robbery and shooting early Wednesday morning on Blue Holly Drive in Orange Township.

Arrested were Isaiah Steele, Terrence Jewell II, Kayla Cantrell and Brianna Saleh. Charges were still being filed at press time, according to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office..

The four were allegedly involved in a robbery Wednesday morning in front of a house in the 7000 block of Blue Holly Drive, deputies said. During the robbery, a 19-year-old man was shot and a 17-year-old was assaulted. Both were taken to a Columbus hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Deputies said there were two other people injured in the robbery but their injuries did not require significant medical attention.

The 19-year-old and the 17-year-old had not suffered life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

The sheriff’s office declined to provide the names of the victims Wednesday afternoon because of “privacy” concerns, deputies said.

A purse and a cellphone were stolen in the robbery, deputies said, describing the robbery as “personal.”

Deputies said two men, Steele and Jewell, were questioned in Columbus — with help from Columbus police — and subsequently arrested Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff’s officials said two women, Cantrell and Saleh, were questioned and arrested a short time later.

Information about the charges filed against the four suspects was unavailable Wednesday because charges were still being filed.

The investigation was still ongoing Wednesday night.

A deputy was dispatched to the scene at about 2:25 a.m. Wednesday when neighbors on Holderman Street called 911 to report gun shots. Officials said a deputy arrived in less than two minutes.

“It was probably four or five [shots] and then two more right after,” one neighbor told dispatchers. “and then two cars took off.”

“My wife and I were awoken by… a dozen gunshots,” another neighbor reported to investigators.

Deputies had closed Blue Holly Drive between Holderman Road and Geranium Drive to conduct their investigation.

Glen Oak Elementary School is accessed by Blue Holly Drive and vehicles dropping off or picking up students were ordered to use the northern entrance because the southern entrance had been closed as part of the investigation.
