Students tie for first place in talent show

Delaware Hayes High School officials declared a tie between Maddy McFarland (left) and Adryan Rojas on Tuesday afternoon after judges saw the pair perform during the “Hayes Has Talent” competition. McFarland sang a cappella and Rojas played violin. The talent show’s semifinals started on April 25 and ended on April 26 during students’ lunch breaks.
