Delaware police report:

A debit card was stolen from a student at Hayes High School Tuesday morning. A student told police she left her wallet in her book bag in an empty classroom; when she returned, her debit card had been taken. Because it is a debit card, a felony theft report was filed, officers said.

A woman said she was assaulted at Sunoco on U.S. 23 North Tuesday afternoon. The woman said she pulled into the gas station and was approached by two men in a truck with Michigan license plates. The woman said the men got out of the truck and assaulted her. Police said the woman had sustained minor injuries but didn’t require medical attention. An investigation is ongoing.

A man was charged with criminal mischief for letting air out of tires on Lake Street Tuesday afternoon.

A wedding ring band set valued at $4,700 was stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Stratford Road Tuesday afternoon.

Two men were fighting in front of Burger King on South Sandusky Street Tuesday afternoon. Police arrived and spoke to the two men, who acknowledged they had been fighting after an argument over a cellphone. Neither man was injured and both were issued a citation for disorderly conduct for fighting in public.
