The Delaware County District Library and Delaware County school systems collaborated again this year for the annual student art showcase at the Delaware main library.
The showcase was held in conjunction with the Delaware Arts Festival May 14-15.
The library staff awarded “Best in Show” and a $20 cash prize to Chloé Brogdon from Olentangy High School for her sculpture of a bear.
Ashton Benson from Olentangy High School received first runner-up and a $15 cash prize for her project “Bittersweet Confrontation.”
Second runner-up and a $10 cash prize went to Olentangy High School student Sadie Baumker for her photo “Weightless.”
The high school students’ work was also judged by a panel from the Delaware Arts Festival on May 14.
