Delaware police report:

A Willis Intermediate School student cut seats in a school bus on his way to school Wednesday. School officials contacted police and the school resource officer, who subsequently filed charges of criminal damaging with Delaware County Juvenile Court. Repairs to the seats are estimated to cost $145.

A student at Delaware Hayes High School set off a smoke bomb and threw it into the hallway Wednesday afternoon. School officials confronted the student who admitted his actions. Charges of criminal mischief and unruly juvenile will be forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A mother having a dispute with her teenage son called police because he was being unruly Wednesday afternoon. Police arrived at the home on Downing Street and found cut marks on the juvenile’s left arm. He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for an evaluation. No charges were filed.
