Delaware police report:

JEGS reported a theft Thursday morning. An employee told police two watches were mailed out of state as part of an eBay transaction but it was later discovered the purchase had been made with a fraudulent PayPal account. Officers are investigating and are in contact with authorities in Tennessee, where the items were mailed to. Police report one of the watches was worth $25,000.

A man was unconscious at Clancy’s Pub on Thursday night. The man became alert when police arrived and he was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police learned that another man had punched him after a dispute over spilled beer.

Two women left the Hamburger Inn without paying their $45.08 bill Friday just after 3 a.m. Police found the women a few blocks away and one of the women fled, leading police on a short foot chase. The other woman surrendered without incident and was taken into custody. Both women were incarcerated at the Delaware County Jail on charges of theft.

A wallet and purse were stolen from a home on Euclid Avenue overnight Wednesday. The homeowner told police someone came into the house overnight and stole the items while he and his wife slept. The man said cash, credit cards and identification were all taken. An investigation is ongoing.
