Delaware police report:

A woman was hiding under a truck on Eastwood Avenue Saturday night. A nearby resident called police to report a suspicious person and police arrived a short time later to speak to the woman. Police found she was intoxicated and unable to care for herself. Police asked where she came from and she said she had been drinking at another person’s home. She was released to a sober party and issued a summons to appear in court for disorderly conduct via intoxication.

A passer-by reported an unconscious man outside the rear of a business in the first block of South Sandusky Street around 2:20 a.m. Sunday. Medics arrived and found there was no medical emergency and reported the man was simply intoxicated. The man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released when he sobered up.

A mother was worried about the condition of her 4-month-old child when she left the baby in the care of a friend and the friend had stopped responding to calls and messages Saturday night. Police contacted the friend and found the baby was fine. Police report miscommunication between the mother and her friend apparently had occurred. The mother picked up her child and no charges were filed. However, the case was forwarded to Delaware County Job and Family Services for review.

A BMX bike was stolen from a home on Webb Street overnight Monday. The bike was reportedly worth $50.
