Delaware police report:

A 59-year-old woman came to the police department to report that an unknown person or persons had removed prescription drugs from her apartment on South Franklin Street sometime Monday. The woman told police she thinks her front door may have been left unsecured. Police have no suspects.

A traffic stop was made in the area of U.S. 23 North near U.S. 42 Wednesday night. During the stop, police discovered a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued a citation for the items and released.

Heroin was found during a traffic stop on West William Street Thursday just after 2 a.m. in the area of Catherine Street. The stop was made for an expired registration and police found several hypodermic needles containing what they believed to be heroin residue. The woman passenger in the vehicle was also in possession of prescription medication. The items were seized and the occupants of the vehicle were issued summonses to appear in court for charges of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments.
