Delaware County grand jury issues indictments

Several people were indicted Friday by a Delaware County grand jury.

Among the indicted were:

• Charles E. Wilcox II, of Columbus, on a charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony; and three counts of endangering children (two are second-degree felonies, and the other is a third-degree felony).

• Robert Vaughan, of 273 Saddlebrook Court, Delaware, on two counts of endangering children (one is a second-degree felony; the other is a third-degree felony).

• Iva Bishop, of 273 Saddlebrook Court, Delaware, on a charge of endangering children, a third-degree felony.

• Daisy Maya Layne, 25, of Delaware, on a charge of assault, a fourth-degree felony, and a charge of obstructing official business, a fifth-degree felony.

• Carlena J. Laycock, 44, of 142 Hayes St., Delaware, on a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony, and a charge of misuse of credit cards, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Cory Wayne Call, 22, of 15 Branch St., Delaware, on two counts of theft, which are fifth-degree felonies.

• Randy A. Hess, of 36½ Ann St., Delaware, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to nonsupport of dependents, which are fifth-degree felonies.

• Branden L.E. Lusby, of Marysville, on a charge of vandalism, a fourth-degree felony.

• Timothy S. Shaffer, of Sunbury, on a charge of theft, a fourth-degree felony.

• John A. Mascari, of Hilliard, on a charge of theft, a fourth-degree felony; and a charge of misuse of credit cards, a fourth-degree felony.

• Uriah Langston, of Mount Vernon, on a charge of theft, a fourth-degree felony; three counts of receiving stolen property (two are fourth-degree felonies and the third is a fifth-degree felony); a charge of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; and a charge of criminal damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor.

• Michael D. Tarullo Sr., of 6430 Irish Hills Drive, Delaware, on a charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony; and a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Cory L. Gasparro, of Dublin, on a charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

Arraignments in Delaware County Common Pleas Court have not been scheduled.
