Eating healthy topic

The next garden sessions meeting is Thursday at 6 p.m.

The session is on Eating Healthy From the Garden. Abbey Trimble from the Delaware Health Department will be the guest speaker. Participants will learn about healthy eating, get to sample snacks made from produce from the garden.

All ages are welcome.

Road closures coming

The Delaware County Engineer will he closing Creek Road between Patrick and Centerburg roads for a culvert replacement project. The road will close Tuesday, Sept. 6 and is scheduled to open Friday, Sept. 23.

Also, Marathon Pipe Line LLC will be closing Woodtown Road between State Route 605 and Green Cook Road for replacement of pipe line. The road will close Tuesday, Sept. 6 and is scheduled to open Saturday, Sept. 17.

Road closed

State Route 3 is closed at Plumb Road. Traffic is being detoured to Worthington Road or Plumb Road.

Closure duration is unknown at this time.
