Hillary Clinton’s campaign opened an office in Delaware Tuesday evening.

The hours of operation at 22 S. Sandusky St. are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 9 p.m.

“We are building a grassroots campaign to make sure supporters are empowered to take our campaign into their own hands and organize Ohioans to elect Hillary Clinton. We’ve hired staff and are working with the coordinated campaign to recruit volunteers, connect with supporters, and build the personal relationships with voters that mark successful campaigns,” said Chris Wyant, Hillary for America Ohio State Director.

A news release states, “The Hillary Clinton campaign has more than three dozen organizing offices across Ohio. These offices serve as hubs for organizing activity throughout Ohio to stop Donald Trump and help elect Hillary Clinton and Democrats up and down the ballot in November.”

This new office in Delaware builds on Hillary Clinton’s organizing advantage in the Buckeye State, organizers say.

The release continues: “As Donald Trump and his divisive rhetoric, dangerous ideas and record of selling out workers to personally profit descend on Ohio, Hillary for Ohio volunteers and supporters will use those offices as places for the community to come in and learn more about Hillary Clinton, do phone bank outreach to potential voters, and get together to get folks registered and committed to vote.”
