Moody Road closure set
The Delaware County Engineer will be closing Moody Road between Justamere Road and Olive Green Road for a culvert replacement project. The road will closed Sept. 19 and is scheduled to open Friday October 28.

Grady offers diabetes program
Grady Life Center is offering a program, Living Well with Diabetes, for persons diagnosed with diabetes, their families and any others interested in learning more about diabetes. This covers basic nutrition, glucose monitoring, hyper and hypoglycemia, meal planning and medications.
The next program will be Monday, Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The course is taught by a registered nurse, registered dietitian and a pharmacist whose goal is to instruct people with diabetes in ways to care for themselves. Lunch not provided, please bring a snack.

Free insurance seminar planned
SourcePoint will host its 17th Annual Insurance Seminar on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at 800 Cheshire Road.
The seminar is a free, educational event for older adults, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning more about Medicare insurance programs, including prescription drug coverage, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Medicare supplements. Additional topics, such as Medicare fraud, scams, and identity theft, and wills, trusts, and probate, will also be reviewed.

Buckeye Valley plans 45th reunion
The Buckeye Valley High School Class of 1971 will hold its 45th class reunion on Friday, Sept. 23 at the Old Bag Of Nails Pub, 66 N. Sandusky St., Delaware.
Doors open at 6 p.m. There will be a cash bar and a limited food menu available.
Teachers invited to observatory
Preservation Parks and Perkins Observatory are launching a project to renovate the observatory, build a planetarium and provide schools with a multidiscipline curriculum of science, history, literature, math, art and music.
Delaware County teachers are invited to attend Friday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. to learn about the project, tour the observatory, and find out how their school can participate.
