A Powell man was killed in a one-car crash Sunday on State Route 315 in Columbus.

Dead is Eric Liddle, 22 of Powell.

Columbus police told the Columbus Dispatch that Liddle was traveling north on SR 315 Sunday just after 2:30 a.m. The car reportedly flipped onto its side and came to rest in a grassy area on the side of the highway.

The highway between Ackerman Road and Henderson Road was reportedly closed for six hours.

Columbus police could not be reached for comment by The Gazette Monday.
