Delaware police report:

• Police were summoned to an apartment Sunday morning on Muirwood Village Drive on the report of a man exposing himself. Police spoke to the caller, a 48-year-old woman, who said she stepped outside and saw a man from a neighboring apartment. The woman said the man then exposed himself to her. Police spoke to the man, who said he had a conversation with the woman but did not expose himself. Police arrested the man and charged him with indecent exposure.

• Gas caps were removed from several vehicles parked at a parking lot at Smith Hall overnight Friday. The caps were removed and placed on top of the cars, but no other damage was noticed.

• A teenager’s cell phone was stolen from a locker at the YMCA Sunday evening. Police located the phone and the two teenagers responsible for stealing it. The phone was returned and the victim declined to file charges.

• Officers responded with the fire department to Smith Hall at Ohio Wesleyan University Friday afternoon to the report of a fire in a kitchen. Police learned someone had placed a cardboard box on top of the stove and turned it on, causing the box to ignite. No one was injured but there was minor damage. The incident remains under investigation.
