Delaware police report:

• Officers were summoned to the area of Village Gate Boulevard and Bowtown Road Monday night to the report of an individual being hit by a car. Police met with a 52-year-old homeless man who reported that he was struck by a car while walking on Bowtown Road and said the car left the scene. He described the vehicle as a tan sedan with two occupants. The victim had several abrasions and was treated by medics at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.

• A suspicious person was reported near Conger Elementary School Tuesday morning. The school was put on a perimeter lockdown while police searched the area and the school was taken off lockdown 40 minutes later and the school day continued uninterrupted.

• Police responded to a home on North Washington Street Monday night to speak to a woman who was suicidal. Police transported the woman to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she was able to speak to a counselor. No charges were filed.

• A reckless driver was reported in the area of South Franklin Street Saturday night. Police observed the vehicle as it was parked on South Franklin Street and made contact with two 19-year-old men as they exited the car. Police learned both of them had consumed alcohol, and they were charged with underage consumption and released to sober parties.
