Centrum at Willow Brook, an assisted living community located in Delaware, announced its Honoring Excellence winner John Lindeboom.

This award is given annually to outstanding employees that demonstrate vision, innovation, leadership and compassion in their role, by the Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA), representing over 466 licensed Assisted Living Communities.

John won the award as Outstanding Director of Culinary Services. He has represented the values the Ohio Assisted Living Association looks for in Honoring Excellence nominees, a news release states.

“Sixteen years ago, John changed the culture at his workplace and introduced restaurant-style dining and ordering from a menu – he may have been a pioneer in assisted living. John has turned Willow Brook into, one of the best restaurants in Delaware. His Sunday brunches draw heavily from the community. And John inspires his whole team to enjoy the creative culinary process.”

Winners of the award are nominated by their community and selected by a committee of the Ohio Assisted Living Association Board of Trustees.
