Olentangy Orange High School’s Marching Band will close out the season by playing all of their fall musical selections during their annual Friday Night Live performances.

The 270-member marching band will host its eighth annual Friday Night Live event in the Olentangy Orange High School Theater at 4 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20.

The indoor concert features music performed during the fall sport and parade season and will also include a special recognition of the band’s senior class. Tickets can now be purchased in advance at the high school box office between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Prices are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.

“If you are looking for an amazing, quality night out that your whole family can enjoy, then Friday Night Live is for you.” said band director, Dr. Ishbah Cox, in a statement.

“You do not need to have a student in the band to enjoy this incredible show. This marching musical showcase provides a memorable, community driven experience which features lighting, special effects and this year it includes all the hype of football game day.”

Numbers being performed during this year’s event will include popular hits from Coldplay from local artists Twentyone Pilots.

During the 2016 Band Tour, the Marching Pioneers made appearances at The Circleville Pumpkin Show, The Logan High School Festival of Bands, Halftime USA Band Festival in Huber Heights and The Ohio State University Buckeye Invitational, in addition to supporting the Pioneer football team on Friday nights. The Marching Pioneers have been invited to perform at the 2016 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta on New Year’s Eve.

Both the Orange Middle School and Berkshire Middle School bands will be guest performers during the FNL shows.
