Delaware police report:

• An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation Sunday night on West William Street. During the stop, police learned a 26-year-old female passenger was wanted in the State of Florida for failure to appear on a larceny/grand theft charge. The State of Florida was contacted and indicated they would extradite the woman. She was taken into custody for the warrant and taken to the Delaware County Jail.

• Employees at UDF reported that a girl had stolen merchandise from the store Friday night. Officers identified the suspect on video surveillance and the juvenile was located, charged with theft and transported to the juvenile detention center.

• Police were summoned to Brittany Drive Friday night to the report of a suspicious vehicle. Police found two juveniles inside the car, smoking marijuana and both boys were arrested and charged with possession of drugs.

• Officers were summoned to handle a man would not stay in his room at Grady Memorial Hospital Saturday just before 2 a.m. The man reportedly threw a television remote and removed a ceiling tile. The man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.
