Delaware County Appoints Members to Finance Authority Board

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners have re-appointed one member and appointed a new member to the Delaware County Finance Authority Board of Directors.

Re-appointed was Liberty Township resident Curtis Sybert, who has been a member of the board since 2013. Sybert is an attorney and has served previously as a Liberty Township trustee and on local zoning commissions.

New to the board is Galena resident Bill Bishop, who is the President and CEO of Associated Insurance Agencies, Inc., which is based in Westerville. Bishop also serves on the Ohio Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Council and is a member of the Uptown Westerville, Inc. board of directors.

The Delaware County Finance Authority is a political subdivision created to assist in economic development and job creation in the county. It has the ability to issue tax-exempt and taxable bonds for business, developer, non-profit and governmental projects, and works in partnership with traditional lending institutions and other public partners. The other members of the board of directors are: David Stadge, Kevin Hennessey, Frank Reinhard, Suzanne Dulaney, Judd Scott and Don Rankey.
