No explanation for odor


Delaware County Emergency Communications (9-1-1) has received numerous calls regarding an unknown odor. The affected area is the U.S. 23 corridor from the City of Delaware south to the county line.

Several fire departments have been dispatched to various areas to investigate the situation. Nothing of significance has been found as of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Per the National Weather Service, Delaware County is experiencing a temperature inversion where odors and pollutants are being trapped close to the ground in central Ohio.
