Delaware police report:

Cash and tools were stolen from an unlocked truck overnight Monday in the area of Oak Street. The owner told police $70 and a tool worth $30 were among the stolen items.

A 31-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after getting in a fight with family members at a residence on Parsons Avenue. Police arrived at the home and collected statements from witnesses who say the man struck a couple of teenage boys. The man was charged with assault, domestic violence and disorderly conduct before being taken to the Delaware County Jail.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Office reports:

Columbus police asked deputies to check on a man living on Fancher Road in Harlem Township on Dec. 2. Columbus police told deputies the man had made statements about harming himself to his ex-girlfriend. Deputies contacted the man who admitted to making the statements months ago but said he no longer wished to harm himself.
