Delaware police report:

A woman left Kroger with a cart full of groceries Wednesday night. Employees at the store on U.S. 23 told police they tried to stop her but she ran and left the premises. Officers were provided a description of the woman and her car. The groceries were worth nearly $200.

A man assaulted his brother and his brother’s girlfriend Thursday at about 1:40 a.m. at a home on Weltergon Drive. When officers arrived, the offending brother had left the scene and the assaulted brother showed officers injuries to his face and indicated he wanted to press charges. Officers located and arrested the other brother. The girlfriend reported no injuries.

Two suspicious men were spotted in the area of Limetree Drive Thursday just after 5 a.m. Officers arrived and began to check the neighborhood. Eventually, officers found two men several streets over and attempted to talk to them but they ran. After a short chase, one of the subjects was captured and was found to be drunk. He is under the age of 21. The man was arrested and charged with prohibition and obstructing official business. Officers also learned he was on probation and he was taken to the Delaware County Jail. The other man eluded police.
