In memory of Shirley Mae Hamon — A friend, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother in law and a wife of 54 years has gone on to be forever with the lord. The family would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone that has touched our lives during these sad times.

A special thanks to Pastor Keith and his wife for traveling from Virginia to hold the funeral services.

More thanks go out to Robinson Funeral Homes for the exceptional and gracious job that they did, everyone that came to visit Shirley in the hospital to show your love and support to her and the family, the people that supplied drinks and prepared food that the women in ladies aide were able to set up and keep supplied, friends that read, sang and played the piano during her services, the family and friends that traveled afar, the donations, cards and all the wonderful, beautiful flowers that were sent.

Support, kindness, thoughtfulness, caring and love are all the words used to describe Shirley. That’s exactly how we describe all of you.

The lives Shirley touched was overwhelming. Our hearts will forever be filled with gratitude.
