The Alpha Group plans casino night

The Alpha Group of Delaware, Inc. invites the community to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and support a great cause at the 4th Annual Casino Night. This event will be Friday, March 17 at 7 p.m.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center, 100 Green Meadows Drive, Lewis Center.

The hotel and conference center also serves as a headquarters for the Alpha Community Experience (ACE) work training program for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The fundraising event will provide an adult fun-filled evening; ticket price of $45 single, $75 couple and $35 Group (5+), includes hors d’oeuvres and play money for the black jack, craps, and roulette. Additional games include our Wine Wall toss and new this year, plinko board with prize slots sponsored by Restoration Brew Worx, Black Wing Shooting Center, Choice Cigars and more.

There will be dozens of silent auction baskets from local community supporters. Klatte Photography will return as the event photographer, and HyperSounds Entertainment, LLC will provide music and DJ services. A special thank you to Damon Renick of Red Hot Leads for all the pre-event support and providing the specialty lighting for the grand ballroom. Get your smiles ready for the Selfie Booth sponsored by Merrill Lynch.

New this year, our half-time comedy show featuring local celebrity comedian Jeff Robinson and auctioneer Dan Boysel making it “painless” to open your wallets for the Live Auction. Some of the featured items will be a three-night cabin retreat in Holmes County donated by Bryan and Brenda Cooper, and a diamond necklace donated by Kimberly’s Diamond Corner.

For the sports lover, two tickets to the Cleveland Cavaliers and pre-game to meet the players. In addition, the live auction packages include tickets to the Ohio State Buckeyes football game donated by Michele Raker-Morris and Robert Morris with autographed Archie Griffin football donated by Ken Whitney. Golf packages have been donated by Delaware Golf Club, Hickory Hills, and Oak Haven, and a Family Fun Pack donated by The Columbus Zoo.

For those garden lovers, Foertmeyer & Sons Greenhouse Gift Card, EarthMark rain station and raised garden beds.
