Road work projects begin Monday in Delaware County

The following work is planned in the Delaware County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.

Worthington Road — Starting Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, the right turn lane of southbound Worthington Road to westbound Polaris Parkway will close for storm sewer work at the intersection.

Two left turn lanes and one thru lane will be available for southbound traffic at the intersection. Right turns will be permitted from the southbound thru lane. Completion: April 2.

Polaris Parkway — Westbound Polaris Parkway will be reduced to one lane for thru traffic at Worthington Road starting Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for two weeks to accommodate storm sewer work at the intersection.

The right and left turn lanes onto Worthington Road will remain open. The right lane of westbound Polaris Parkway, west of the intersection, will also close at 9 AM. This lane will remain closed for one month.

This closure is approximately 300 feet long. The right turn lane into the Goo-Goo Car Wash/Mellow Mushroom shopping plaza will remain open.

State Route 203 — Starting Monday at 7 a.m., SR 203 will close between Hillsmiller Road and Lawrence Road for a culvert replacement. The detour is SR 203 to SR 37 to SR 257 to SR 47 to SR 203 or reverse. Completion: March 24 at 3 PM.

State Route 315 — Work continues on SR 315 north of SR 750 to Retreat Lane will close for 3 ½ months or 100 days for construction of the stabilization wall. The detour is SR 750 to US 23 to SR 315 or reverse.

Wall construction will occur during daytime hours only. Note, both directions of SR 750 will remain open. Completion: May 8.
