Dog park closed temporarily

The city of Delaware’s dog park, 840 Mill Run Crossing, is closed to allow the turf to dry out and field conditions to improve. For more information email at [email protected].

Wilson Road to close

Trucco Construction Co. will be closing Wilson Road between Carters Corner Road and Big Blue Stem Way for a road reconstruction project. The road will close Monday, April 3 and is scheduled to open Thursday, Aug. 31.

I-71 north lanes reduced

Interstate 71 north will be reduced to two lanes at US 36 Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for overhead sign installation.

Library holding book sale

The Friends of the Delaware County District Library will host their Bargain Book Sale to be held at the Orange Branch located at: 7171 Gooding Blvd. Delaware, Ohio 43015. The dates for this event are:

Friday, April 21 – 5-8 p.m. (No longer a members only night, everyone is welcome, discount this night only for Friends members)

Saturday, April 22 – 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Sunday, April 23 – Noon-3 p.m.

Bring a Friends of the Library Bag and fill it with books for $8. You can buy a Friends of the Library Bag and fill it with books for $12. Proceeds go back to the Delaware County District Library.

St. Peter’s rummage sale

There will be a large variety of items available for sale at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 45 W. Winter St. in Delaware, on Saturday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those stopping by the rummage sale will find tables of donated or church-owned housewares, clothing, gardening implements, furniture and much more. All articles will be displayed in the church undercroft and in its adjacent parish house.

All items must go, as part of the rearrangement of church meeting and administrative spaces. There will be no early sales, so early shoppers will have the best selection.
