Delaware police report:

Police were dispatched to an apartment on London Road Tuesday just before 1 a.m. to take a report about a vehicle being used without the owners permission. However, after the vehicle was returned the owner declined to press charges against the driver. No charges were filed by police.

A staff member at Delaware Hayes High School reported a student was feeling suicidal Tuesday morning. The school resource officer was called to the counseling department and spoke to the student. The student was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment and her parents were contacted.

Officers responded to the report that an individual had fallen on the sidewalk near a restaurant on South Sandusky Street Tuesday night. Officers found the man was displaying symptoms of a drug overdose, likely heroin. A medic was summoned and the man was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. An investigation is pending.
