And those with family members in the assisted living center in Willow Brook at Delaware Run gave it the highest satisfaction score in Delaware County.
The Ohio Department of Health conducts extensive surveys of all 967 skilled nursing/rehab centers and 600-plus assisted living centers in the state every year. They alternate between surveying families and surveying residents each year.
This year families of Delaware Run residents gave the assisted living center an overall satisfaction score of 91.32 out of 100 in areas such as the quality of the housekeeping, their ability to choose the hours they go to bed and have breakfast, their happiness with the nurses and aides, the menus, and dozens of other factors that come together to make living pleasant, a news release states.
Cherith Care Center at Willow Brook Christian Village topped Delaware County nursing homes with an overall score of 88.79, and Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus/Worthington was number one if Franklin County with an overall score of 87.93.
“We all strive for perfection in caring for those entrusted to our care,” said Willow Brook CEO Larry Harris, “and we are gratified to see that their families recognize it.”
