Delaware police report:

A 69-year-old man came to the police department Wednesday to report that someone had cashed two fraudulent checks from his account totaling $1,999. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Police were called to a parking lot on Curtis Street Wednesday night to investigate loud music coming from a vehicle. Police arrived and spoke to a 50-year-old woman in the car and found she was in possession of marijuana paraphernalia. She was charged with possession.

Police assisted medics and transported a woman to the hospital after she attempted suicide by swallowing pills. No charges were filed, but a report was taken to document the call.
