Delaware police report:

Motorists on U.S. 23 contacted police Friday afternoon. The caller told police that another driver was driving erratically and brandished a firearm while driving. Officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle acknowledged the incident with the other driver, but denied brandishing a firearm. Police searched the vehicle and discovered a pistol secured in the car. No charges were filed.

Officers were sent to Kohl’s on Friday morning after a sales clerk reported she received a phone call from an unknown man. During the call, the caller made threatening remarks that made the employee believe she would be harmed. Management told police that similar calls have been reported at Kohl’s stores throughout the United States and they believe this call is related to that situation. A report was filed.

A man called police Friday to report that he interrupted a man trying to break into his home on Hammond Street Thursday morning. An investigation is ongoing.
