Marietta College Dean’s List
More than 100 Marietta College students were named to the spring Dean’s List, which features any full-time student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.74.
Westyn Bennington of Ashley, is majoring in Petroleum Engineering and is a graduate of Buckeye Valley High School.
Melvin Shuler of Westerville, is majoring in Marketing and is a graduate of Tree of Life Christian School.

The University of Alabama awarded approximately 5,000 degrees during spring commencement May 5-7.
Degree recipients included: Sela Garand of Sunbury, Bachelor of Science in Education.
The Georgia Institute of Technology
The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 3,800 undergraduate and graduate students during the 253rd commencement exercises on May 5-6.
Degree recipients included: Stewart Carpenter of Delaware, Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering; Megan Dam of Powell, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies; and Taylor Newsom of Dublin, Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
Youngstown State University
Youngstown State University awarded undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees to more than 1,300 students for spring semester 2017.
