Delaware police report:

A business on London Road called police Thursday to report that vans they owned were damaged overnight. A criminal damaging report was taken and the investigation is inactive.

A Columbus man contacted Delaware Police Thursday to report that his Ohio identification card was stolen and used to cash a check earlier in June at a business in Delaware. The investigation is ongoing, but there are no suspects at this time.

An air conditioner was stolen from a home under construction on McNamara Loop Thursday. The air conditioner was reportedly worth $5,000.

Police were called to a gas station on U.S. 23 Thursday evening to investigate an intoxicated man. Police found that the man was 18 years old and intoxicated. He was charged with underage consumption.

Police were summoned to a home in the area of Westland Way around 2 a.m. Friday to investigate someone banging on the door and running away. Officers had previously been to the same area a couple of hours earlier, but could not locate any suspects. However, police were able to locate three juveniles after the most recent call. The juveniles confessed they knocked on the door and ran away in an attempt to bother the resident. The three juveniles were referred to the Delaware County Juvenile Court for violating curfew.
