Delaware police report:

• The school resource officer at Hayes High School contacted police to report he believes a student may not be receiving their medication from their parents as prescribed. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.

• A home on McKinley Lane was burglarized Wednesday afternoon. Residents reported that $700 worth of items were stolen. There are no suspects at this time.

• A report was taken at Hayes High School after a student located a threatening note in their backpack. The content of the note was general and did not specifically target the student who found it. Police believe the note was left in a random backpack by an unknown student and report the threats do not appear to be credible.

• A “rustic” bicycle was stolen from a home on Griswold Street Wednesday. The bike was described as a 40-year-old women’s bike with two baskets on the front. The owner said the bike had great sentimental value and a theft report was taken. An investigation is open.
