Preservation Parks activities at Delaware County Fair

The Delaware County Fair is Sept. 16-23 and Preservation Parks will be there all week, according to park officials.

The Preservation Parks tent will be near the arts and crafts building and will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. All events and programs are free with paid fair admission. There will be displays, crafts, and other activities all day, plus special attractions that are unique each day.

Following is a list of the daily attractions offered by Preservation Parks:

• Sept. 16, 2-4 p.m. — Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center; 4-7 p.m. — Toys and Games of the Past

• Sept. 17, 2-4 p.m. — Ohio Wildlife Center; 4-7 p.m. — Making Apple Cider

• Sept. 18, 1 and 2 p.m. — Monarch Tagging and Release; 2-4 p.m. — The Bug Man and The Moth Guy; 4-7 p.m. — Washday with Gallant Farm

• Sept. 19, 2-4 p.m. — Captive Born Reptiles; 4-7 p.m. — Folksongs with Gallant Farm

• Sept. 20, 4-7 p.m. — Ropemaking with Gallant Farm

• Sept. 21, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. — Amphibians Display

• Sept. 22, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. — Mammals Display

• Sept. 23, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. — Bubbles & Canoe photo opportunity
