Delaware police report:

• A woman living on Tabilore Loop contacted police Wednesday to report that someone stole items from her unlocked vehicle overnight Tuesday. An investigation is inactive, pending more information.

• An assault report was taken in the area of Muirwood Village Drive on Wednesday afternoon. A 15-year-old boy reported that he was backhanded by a 31-year-old man in the area of Buehler Drive. The man was charged with disorderly conduct.

• A business on Columbus Pike reported Wednesday that an iPad was stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime in the last week. The iPad was reportedly worth $375. The matter is under investigation.

• A traffic stop was conducted Thursday around 3 a.m. During the stop the officer conducted a search and located a suspected controlled substance inside the vehicle. The matter is still under investigation.
