Delaware police report:

• Police responded to the 400 block of Applegate Lane on Tuesday morning after a domestic situation was reported. An investigation was conducted and a 17-year-old male was charged with unruly child.

• A 26-year-old man was arrested Tuesday morning after officers were told he assaulted a woman on South Franklin Street. A 24-year-old woman said the man kicked and bit her. She had visible signs of injury. Police found the man at his apartment and took him to the Delaware County Jail after charging him with assault. The man then lied to officers about his identity and was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was also charged with obstructing official business and possession of marijuana.

• Police were called to Dempsey Middle School on Tuesday morning after a student was behaving in an unruly manner and could not be calmed down. He was charged with unruly juvenile, placed in custody and taken to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.
