Delaware police report:

Two teenagers were having sex in a car near the playground at Mingo Park Tuesday afternoon. Officers were dispatched after receiving a complaint about the activity. After officers arrived, they “confirmed the complaint,” police said. After the occupants of the vehicle put their clothes back on, they were asked to step out of the car and alcohol was found in the vehicle. The couple was charged with public indecency and prohibition, police said, because the vehicle was in plain view of the playground and the children who were playing there. Charges for the 18-year-old female were sent to Delaware Municipal Court and charges for the 17-year-old male were sent to Delaware County Juvenile Court.

Women broke into a home on North Franklin Street and “made a mess” Tuesday afternoon. A male caller indicated that three women he recently met forced their way into his home and damaged some of his property before leaving in a car. The man said he and the women were involved in a monetary dispute and the women were later located by Delaware County sheriff’s deputies near Interstate 71. However, the victim declined to pursue charges and, instead, asked officers to instruct the women not to return.

An 11-year-old and her mother told officers Tuesday that the girl was punched while she was at Willis Intermediate School earlier that day. The girl said another student punched her after he attempted to cut in line to reach a hand sanitizer dispenser. Police contacted the school resource officer, who confirmed the incident with school officials. Charges of assault and disorderly conduct were forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.
