Delaware police report:

A pit-bull puppy was reported stolen at a home on Flintwood Drive. The 38-year-old owner told police that when he returned home Tuesday, his puppy was missing from the backyard of the residence. He said he searched everywhere but could not find where the dog may have escaped from. He told police he believed someone took the dog. The dog has not yet been located.

Children were unattended at an apartment on Fern Drive Wednesday about 1 a.m. Police received no answer at the door but spoke to two adults next door who said they were watching the children in the first apartment and had stepped next door for a minute when the children fell asleep. Police checked on the children and reported they were fine. A report was filed and forwarded to Children’s Services for follow-up.

A boy’s BMX bike was stolen from his grandfather’s front yard sometime in the last month, the grandfather said. He told police the bike was not locked and was missing from where it had been parked in the front yard. The bike was valued at $50.

Forty dollars were stolen from a home on Columbus Avenue during a break-in.
