Big Walnut, led by Ryan Cunningham’s 78, shot a combined 326 to win the Delaware Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan Invitational Friday at Oakhaven.
Central Crossing finished second with a 334 while host Hayes, which received a second-straight medal-winning round from Grant Godfrey, smoothed out the top three with a 339. Buckeye Valley (353), Westland (387) and Groveport rounded out the scoring summary.
Kyle Gose (80), Parker Imertreijs (83) and Austin Schone (85) joined Cunningham on the list of Golden Eagle contributors.
Godfrey led the Pacers with his medalist effort of 73, Cole Hafferman finished with a 78 and Lali Lakatos and Dam Van Brimmer closed with 94s.
The Barons, finally, were boosted by Colin Dawson’s 85. TJ Gregory (88), Jake Kehoe (90) and Adam Fridley (90) also contributed for BV.
•Liberty shot a 308 and Olentangy fired a combined 310 as the two teams finished ninth and 12th at the always-competitive Mount Vernon Invitational Friday at Chapel Hill Golf Club.
Trevor Haas led the Patriots with a 73 while Kyle Mitchell shot a 76, Trey Rath carded a 79 and Cameron McCloskey and Marshall Ruffing finished with 80s.
The Braves were boosted by Jeff Darfus’ 73 while Matthew Homza, Michael Savoldi and Nick Scott contributed efforts of 76, 80 and 81, respectively.
