Hayes picked up its second 5-0 win in as many days Tuesday, blanking host River Valley thanks to solid play up and down the lineup.


Pacer winners included Jason Watkins, who secured a 6-2, 6-1 win at first singles; Brandon Becker, who notched a 6-1, 6-2 win at second singles; Paul Claymier, who sailed to a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles; John Homan and Nate Miklas, who won 6-2, 6-1 at first doubles; and Paul Winters and Patel, who teamed up to win 6-1, 6-1 at second doubles.


Hayes swept away Marion Harding in non-league action Monday, getting steady showings from Homan, who won 6-0, 6-2 at first singles; Miklas who won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles; Becker, who won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles; Claymier and Watkins, who combined for a 6-0, 6-0 win at first doubles; and Nathan Bonofiglio and Patel, who won 6-0, 6-2 at second doubles.


FROM MONDAY

Big Walnut slipped past Buckeye Valley during Monday’s non-league action, sweeping the doubles courts while winning one of three singles matches.


Golden Eagle winners included Stephen Pushkin, who beat Nick Baesman 6-0, 6-4 at second singles; Jared Deel and Nick Schulz, who combined to beat Sam Fairbanks and Nick Roden 6-2, 6-2 at first doubles; and Scott Bailey and Grant Bartlett, who beat Ethan Wittkorn and Aaron Bennington 6-4, 6-2 at second doubles.


The Barons, were led by Jack Baesman and Ben Swanger. Jack Baesman beat Logan Adams 6-2, 6-2 at first singles while Swanger beat Isaiah Kolb 6-2, 6-3 at third singles.


Buckeye Valley fared a bit better over the weekend, winning the River Valley Invitational. Jack Baesman, Nick Baesman and Swanger took top honors on the three singles courts while the teams of Jim Brittsan and Mitchell Garnett and Jarrod Kidwell and Logan Kelleher closed third at first and second doubles, respectively.


•Liberty edged Hilliard Darby Monday, winning a singles match while taking both doubles decisions to seal the deal.


Patriot winners included Jay Thankappan, who notched a 6-1, 6-4 win at third singles; the duo of Mohit Daga and Hemanth Koralla, who earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at first doubles; and Sayantan Basu and Daniel Moran, who combined for 6-2, 6-1 win at second doubles.
