Raymond Richard ‘Dick’ Pursley

Raymond Richard “Dick” Pursley, 58, passed away at his home on Tuesday (Oct. 27, 2009).

Born Sept. 25, 1951 in Columbus, he was a lifetime resident of Columbus. He was a former employee of Frito Lay North America, Inc., Penske Logistics and was a recent school bus driver for Petermann, Ltd./Groveport-Madison Local Schools.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathleen Yvonne (Swisher) Pursley; his mother Jane M. (Pruett) Pursley; numerous cousins, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Richard Pursley, Sr.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St. (half of a mile south of 270), where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
