Jason A. Christian, 34, of Delaware passed away Thursday (Oct. 29, 2009) at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

He was born on Sept. 21, 1975 in Marion and was a graduate of Delaware Hayes High School in 1994. His trade was heavy construction. He was a big man with a humble heart. He was a fan of wrestling and the Ohio?State Buckeyes, and he loved playing poker. Jason also enjoyed a dry sense of humor and fishing when he was able. He treasured time spent with family and his four chihuahuas.

He was the beloved son of Lenville Fitch, Cynthia Fitch and George Thompson; the proud father of Carah Christian; favorite brother of Chrissy (Tom) Waddell — all of Delaware. He is also survived by grandmother Barbara Armstrong; the mother of his daughter, Tammy Stueve; special friend Jessica John; aunts; uncles; cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Andrew and Virginia Christian, and Alka Fitch.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St. (Ohio 36), Delaware, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with his uncle, the Rev. Paul Christian, officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
