Megan Kuether poured in 34 points and Taylor Dickson added 33 as the Ohio Wesleyan women’s basketball team used a late push to sink visiting Wooster 101-94 in double overtime Wednesday at Branch Rickey Arena.

With the game knotted at 89 heading into the second extra period, the Bishops (2-11, 1-3 NCAC) outscored Wooster (5-8, 1-3 NCAC) 12-5 to notch their first conference win of the season.

Kuether hit a pair of free throws to put OWU ahead to stay, 93-91, and Dickson finished off an old-fashioned three-point play on the ensuing possession to give the Bishops the cushion they needed to finally finish off the Fighting Scots.

MEN’S BASKETBALL
