The Ohio Machine has clinched a spot in the 2015 Major League Lacrosse playoffs, it was announced earlier this week by the League.

It marks the second time in club history and second consecutive season the Machine has earned a postseason berth. Tickets to a potential home playoff game, as well as the Machine’s final two regular season home games, are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased by calling 614-754-1973.

“Clinching the playoffs is great for our organization and our fans,” Machine Vice President and head coach Bear Davis said. “Our goal is to win a championship and clinching a spot in the playoffs is the first step toward that goal. We need to finish out the regular season with two strong performances in our final two home games.”

This past weekend, the Machine traveled to Boston and earned a 19-12 victory over the Cannons. The Machine’s victory, coupled with Rochester’s victory over Chesapeake on Sunday, clinched a playoff appearance for Ohio. The New York Lizards clinched the top overall seed in the 2015 MLL Playoffs this past weekend with their victory over Denver.

The top four teams at the end of the 2015 MLL regular season advance to the playoffs. The top two seeds will host semifinal matchups at their home stadiums on Saturday, August 1. The 2015 MLL Championship Game will be on Saturday, August 8 in Atlanta, GA at Kennesaw State University.

The Machine returns to Selby Stadium for two home games to close out the regular season. On Saturday the top seeded New York Lizards come to town. Game time is set for 7 p.m. The following Saturday, the Boston Cannons visit Selby Stadium on Fan Appreciation Night at 7 p.m.
