Big Walnut’s Kate Petty pitched and won both games of Saturday’s non-league doubleheader in Sunbury. The Golden Eagles beat Licking Valley 7-6 and handled Dublin Coffman 7-3. BW’s Taryn Hammond hit a grand slam as part of a six-run sixth to boost her team. In other weekend action, Orange split with Sequatchie (Tenn.) and Marion (Tenn.), winning 6-0 and falling 7-0, respectively; and Liberty fell to Groveport 5-1 and Northridge 7-1.
