There was an error in the The Delaware Gazette’s Sept. 19, 2017 online edition and the Sept. 21, 2017 print edition of the story, “Powell, developer agree to settle lawsuit for $1.8M.”

It was incorrectly stated in the story that Powell City Councilman Brendan Newcomb was part of a group that initiated a November 4, 2014 charter amendment that was approved by city voters.

Mr. Newcomb was not a member of the group that formed a committee to circulate petitions to place the charter amendment on the ballot in 2014.
